A city that's been abandoned for half a century. What happened to the previous inhabitants? War? Natural disaster? Disease? No one can say for sure, but after years of adventurers and fortune seekers disappearing, people know better than to try moving back in.

This is insanely good! The perspective is awesome and I love the individuation given to the buildings, really giving the place life. Abandoned places always have a special place in my heart. xD

Thanks David! Me too, I've always had a fascination with ruins and abandoned architecture. They always have this mysterious aura about them, like what stories could this place tell?

Exactly! :) There's so much mystery surrounding them, whenever I visit anywhere abandoned my mind races with so many thoughts about what happened and who lived/worked/etc there. If I could I would explore abandoned places all day. :]

I hadn't thought of it that way, but it does kind of look like that doesn't it? I went way too sparse on the vegetation and it looks kind of like a wasteland as a result, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but different from what I originally intended.

Well maybe the place became a desert as a result of over use and thus it was deserted. We gotta think outside the rectangle!
