Gorgeous work! On a separate yet similar note, I'm looking for an artist to help me design a steampunk/dusty, in the west style town. I'm still working on the technology, but if it's something you might be able to devote some time to in the near future I'd really like to talk to you more about it. I also have some other stuff you might be interested in. So, if you have the time I definitely have some monster ideas I'd like to get out there somewhere, and I'd really like to see some of your art highlight what I have.
Heheh, it's not all that dramatic. I actually walked away from my last studio position and right now some very promising opportunities are coming up. Thanks for the compliments! Edge of Twilight looks pretty cool but I haven't been hearing much about it. Hopefully things are going well and we'll see some trailers for it soon.
We are Swedish indie game development group that aim to compete in the Swedish game awards next year. The game that we are currently working on is a fantasy game with compact style characters (like zelda 3). We are looking for more talented people that really burns for gamemaking. I really like your enviroment scetches. if you are intrested please contact me for more information.
While a bit of off perspective doesn't matter much for a piece like this (sometimes it can add to it), IMHO taking the time to nail all the details in perspective super correctly really makes a concept piece shine. (Like Feng Zhu for example).
Thanks again! Yeah, I think I zoomed in on stuff too early on this one and started getting a number of odd inconsistent perspective issues going on, particularly in the bottom left and bottom right corners. If I get around to revisiting this one for my portfolio at some point it should be easy to get some quick selection transformation fixes in there so it isn't so glaring.
Thanks! Yeah, it's a bit jumbled now, with too little emphasis on specific focal points and rather haphazard flow. I'm planning to revisit it at some point to detail up some of the buildings and correct some perspective errors, so I'll try improving the flow while I'm at it.
I'll see if I can get around to that gif at some point over the next few days.
